Evolution SmartServer is the system controller, database server and video hard disk recorder for the SmartCam Evolution system.

Video synchronized with event, such as motion or access to a controlled area. Also, medium and long term video storage can be optimized to save only video connected with events. Video and database data is stored on an internal RAID5 IDE hard disk array.

Evolution SmartViewer displays video camera views and the easy-to-use graphical user interface.

The high performance networking allows simultaneous display of multiple live camera feeds and retrieves and displays recorded video from the SmartServer hard disk video recorder. SmartViewers may be set to view only mode for areas that are not authorized for system or camera control.
